In the times of Henry the VIII Backgammon was banned as it was upsetting the political set-up of the land. People started to hide their boards so that they could continue to play unhindered. The faux book was an especially popular disguise. In homage to this, we have created our own faux book backgammon set. It has a very smart black and green spine and gold deckled edging, all set off with a rich green cover ornamented with black detailing. The board comes complete with all the pieces, dice and shakers and is an exceptional gift for someone, especially yourself.
